The Nigerian Poultry and livestock expo International Exhibition NIPOLI EXPO 2019 and conference on latest Technology of Poultry , Dairy ,Livestock and Fishery Farming Themed: Innovation for sustainable and Resilient Livestock SMEs Development in Nigeria held from the 3rd of April to the 5th of April 2019 at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan Oyo state

It was an exhibition that showcased several Nigerian Agro-companies and International companies as well as Automobile companies such as Koncept Auto-centre. These companies include: Animal Care, AGRITED NIG. LIMITED, Grand Cereal, Amo Byn Nigeria, Afrimash, Access Bank plc, BIG DUTCHMAN,Whitfield Ventures, EZ Farming, Bifem Animal care, Olaonidiku farms, Val-co(Usa), Lufeng Tianbao chemical, Lifecome Biochemistry Co., Ltd, Reman Infrastructure(P) ltd India, RK Bio feed machine, Eddygypt Giordano Poultry Plast, Vanke Machinery &Equip Co, Positive Action Publication ltd.

There were a lot of Eventful Moments during this 3 day event including the moment when women in Agriculture were appreciated for their efforts in the Agricultural space.
Mrs Akinbami Riike of Estaasah Farm Limited ensured that women got a standing ovation from the male farmers and everyone present.She also admonished Banks to support more women in Agriculture.

She also laid emphasis on the following:
• Research institutes require more funds and when they get those funds, they should accept more women researchers on various projects

• More men should support #womeninAg so that together, we can do more.
• Women should support each other by forming partnerships so that their voices can be heard a lot clearer in the Nigerian Agricultural space.

• More women should look into processing and they should ensure they do their work exceptionally so that being a woman wouldn’t be an excuse.
• Older women were encouraged to not give up and they should champion more paths for younger women so that Agribusiness can be easier for them.


Another farmer “The Rabbit Place farms” stole the show not on the stage but at the exhibition stand with his Male and Female Rabbits that people couldn’t get enough of. He encouraged farmers to try farming Rabbits because they are very tasty, as well as the following: high digestible protein, Chewable brittle bones, Little or no cholesterol, Ideal meat for discerning, Has low fat, low sodium, potassium, Iron and Minerals.

The Bank of Industry Oyo State Manager, Mr Pacqueens Irabor emphasized the need for Farmers to think about retirement and seek professional advise where needed. He also said that the Bank of Industry is ready to give out loans to farmers and if farmers can form partnerships, they would get easier access to funds that way.
Also, the Representative of Engineer Seyi Makinde the Governor Elect of Oyo State enjoined farmers to join various vibrant groups where they will be able to have access to information and also stand in solidarity together. Farmers play a vital role in Economic growth of a Nation and should be proud of this he said.
When discussing how the younger ones can get involved in Agriculture, the Representative of Agxafrica admonished “Agro-enthusiasts” to get involved through internships. He said “internship is a sure way of Entering into the Agricultural space. If are interested in Agriculture, go and Intern”.

Finally, after the panel sessions, the visitors were given a tour of the various stands belonging to several local and International businesses where each spokesman of the brands explained what they do and sold their wares to those who were interested.
