|First GIZ-SAIS Investment Readiness Programme is taking off! |
The project “Scaling Agricultural Innovations through Start-ups (SAIS)” is aiming at African start-ups entering the growth phase that have a digal innovation in agritech and/or food. Within our six-months GIZ-SAIS Investment Readiness Programme starting in December we will support selected start-ups with tailor-made company development measures offered through experienced company developers and growth managers.
Throughout the durations of the programme the project will facilitate contacts and interactions with potential investors and business partners.
GIZ-SAIS has just opened the Call for Applications online on VC4A (https://vc4a.com/giz/giz-sais-investment-readiness-programme/), please also find a PDF version of the Call attached to this email. Applications are open until October 28th.
What are we looking for?Start-ups that are registered in Africa (we do not have a focus on any country)offer scalable digital solutions with a clear positive impact on income in the agricultural and/or food sector are in the post-seed stage (i.e. have launched a minimum viable product, have an existing customer base, have evidence of revenue).
